How MiDim works

Setup takes a few minutes, and after that entering your readings once a month is enough — the app takes care of the calculation, history and reminders.

Four steps to your first bill

  1. Step 1. Create an account

An email and a password are enough. Your data lives in your account, so it is available on your phone and computer.

  2. Step 2. Add a property and services

Add your apartment or house and the services you pay for: water, electricity, gas, heating, internet and so on.

  3. Step 3. Set the tariffs

For each service — the price and how it is charged. When a tariff changes, add a new one with the date it takes effect.

  4. Step 4. Enter readings every month

MiDim calculates consumption and the amount due, reminds you to pay and keeps everything in the history.

How the amount due is calculated

For each service you choose how it is charged, and MiDim applies the tariff that was in effect in that month.

By meter

Consumption is the difference between the current and the previous reading. The amount is consumption multiplied by the tariff. If a meter was replaced or rolled over, you can mark it, and consumption stays correct.

Fixed amount

For services with the same monthly payment: building maintenance, internet, TV, gas delivery.

By quantity

For charges per person or another unit — for example, waste collection by the number of residents, with a monthly or yearly tariff.

From other services

When the volume of a service depends on others — like sewage, which is calculated from the sum of cold and hot water.

What happens to your data

Everything is stored in your account, so MiDim shows the same data on your phone and computer. A copy of the data is also kept on the device — so you can view bills without internet. See the privacy policy for details.
